    i think i knew this person...a long time ago in what seems like another lifetime from where i sit now...many roads i have traveled down since then and many more to come...dreaming in wide open sky of the route 66 of my mind...setting off to look for america, or find my way back to terrapin, or fennario, or gamehendge...meeting the spirits of kerouac and ginsberg at an old gas station in shamrock texas...or the spirits of garcia and joplin (that's jerry and janis, of course!) at the corner of haight and ashbury, waiting in line at ben and jerry's for some ice cream...anyway i am here and you are there (wherever there is) and perhaps we will meet in between, but not until my dying day will i confess what i have seen...
