Pictures from the back and side, why?

A comment asked why the photos of me are either from the back or the side while most of the women are from the front.

The main reason is one of the reasons I like slingshots is the gap between the curve of the back and the strings.

Lying on my front and resting on my arms the gap is enough so that if the wind is strong enough it vibrates. The strings gently tapping the skin reminds me how small the swimsuit is and enable to me to remember the feeling when I'm not wearing it. The noise the vibrating strings sometimes make also enhances memory.

Secondly, almost every women I've seen wearing slingshots have been so beautiful it would do them an injustice not to show how confident they are wearing them.

Finally, I have about 400 photos of my slings in various places and think those from the front aren't as good as those I've been posting.

  1. Why then do you show pics of women wearing slings with their faces and not yours. It seems to be a case of double standards here. While it's okay to show women wearing slingshots, but how come we don't see yours. Is it that you could be hiding something. When i saw your pics on ur blog, all i saw was the suit and the lower parts, not the whole body and face that goes with the suit. I just think that if ur gona show pics of women in slingshots with their faces, isn't it fair as well for you to do the same.

  2. Thanks for your opinion Nick.

I respect you might be willing to do this but I'm not prepared to do so with strangers on the internet.

Eventually, I might trust someone enough to share more with them but they would have to have done certain things over a period of time. However, over the last four years only two people online have done something which would make willing to consider trusting them.

If this doesn't settle this issue you are welcome to visit another blog where your comment doesn't apply.

    Bye.

  3. What my main concern is about perception issue. Its fine and great that ur showing people that you like slingshots and heck i like them too. But the one thing that toubles me is the perception you give by showing only the back and sides. It just gives the illusion that ur hiding something. I do like the pics, but what also toubles me is the way it's presented.

Here you have women in slingshots, shown in all sides with there faces, but when it comes to men in their slingshots, you only show the back and sides and no faces to go along with the pic. It seems to be a standard issue of showing both men and women equally instead of one sided.

I do like what ur doing and i'm all for it, but can you at least show some form of equallity and equalness. I mean if you want to promote women wearing slingshots and promote men wearing slingshots, should their atleast be equal face time instead of being onesided.

It would go along way in showing people that their is no perception that a man is hiding something by not showing his face while wearing a slingshot or a g string.

  4. Nick

Thanks for the good comments. I can see what you are getting but unless I setup a website and charge access or perhaps certain websites featuring slings ask me I'm not prepared to do this so there is no further point discussing it.

But, if there are any male slingshot wearers reading this who are willing to do what Nick asks I'm happy to feature you on the blog.

Additionally, if there are any female slingshot wearers who are not prepared to do what Nick asks (ie. show your face) I'm equally happy to feature you on the blog BUT ONLY IF you give me permission.

The final option is I make up names and/or tamper with the photos which I think degrades those concerned with taking the photograph. Obviously, all links to external sites would have to be removed which might reduce the chances of them taking more photographs.

I regard this topic closed so have a good christmas.
